Top Ten Tuesday: Authors I’ve Read The Most Books From

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme sponsored by the The Broke and The Bookish. This week is Author’s I’ve Read the Most Books From!

Here are mine:

1. Colleen Hoover – I mean, really, are you surprised? Her writing just seems to get better and better. Ugly Love is one of my absolute faves. I can re-read that book over and over and it never gets old!

2. Abbi Glines – I’m pretty sure I read all 6 of these in the span of about two days because once I got a glimpse of Rush I could not stop.

3. George R.R. Martin – Although I’m half-convinced the next book is never coming, I had to get through all of these just in case it was suddenly released and I wasn’t ready. My hubby and I joke that one day we’ll find the time to do the epic re-read.

4. Mitch Albom – It’s been a while since I’ve read any of these, but they are definitely the type that stick with you! Tuesdays with Morrie is definitely a five-star read.

5. Sylvia Day – Oh Gideon…

6. Suzanne Collins – Loved it all. So excited for the last movie this fall.

7. Stieg Larsson – I have mixed feelings on this series but ultimately had to finish it out. I hear there’s a new co-authored book coming out.

8. Veronica Roth – So here’s another series I blew through because of my massive crush on Four. Even read the shorts. I couldn’t be stopped.

Top Ten Tuesday: Inspiring Quotes

I LOVE a good book quote!! When I saw this meme circulating from The Broke and The Bookish, I new I had to jump on it.

In no particular order, here are some of my favorites:

  2. “You only get one life. It’s actually your duty to live it as fully as possible.” – Jojo Moyes – Me Before You
  3. “He was contemplation and enthusiasm. Ambition and strong coffee. I could have looked at him forever.” – E. Lockhart – We Were Liars

  7. “He kissed me with color, with drumbeat, and a surgeon’s precision. He kissed me with who he was, the sum of his life – and it was all encompassing. I wondered what I kissed him with since I was only broken parts.” – Tarryn Fisher – Mud Vein
  8. “If people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane.” John Green – Searching for Alaska

Top Ten Tuesday – Top 10 Sequels I Can’t Wait to Read!

This week I’m participating in The Broke and Bookish meme, Top Ten Tuesday. I’m so excited to share 10 sequels that I cannot wait to read!

  1. The Winds of Winter – When will it come?!?!? I’m probably going to need to re-read the series by the time this one is released!
  2. Breakable – I loved Easy! It was such a well-told story. When I heard Breakable wasn’t a carbon copy of book one like a lot of male POV follow ups, I knew it would be one I have to read.
  3. Isla and the Happily Ever After – Loved book one. Two was so-so. I’m hoping three will return to greatness!
  4. Reflected in You – Because Gideon.
  5. Reckless – And Kellan.
  6. Beautiful Oblivion – And Maddox brothers…
  7. The Scorch Trials – I enjoyed The Maze Runner and I’ve heard this is even better!
  8. Beautiful Stranger – I am really hoping it’s as enticing and rich with curse words as the first. 😉
  9. Where She Went– I’m curious to learn what happened to Mia after the way If I Stay ended.
  10. Dearest Clementine – While not truly a sequel, it’s actually book one, these are standalones and I really enjoyed Finding Dandelion.

Are any of these on your TBR list? What sequels are you eagerly awaiting?
